The London International Development Centre (LIDC) has the pleasure of inviting students of the Bloomsbury Doctoral Training Centre (DTC), and beyond, to its sixth series of seminars on key development issues ‘Understanding International Development’. This year the focus of the series will be on using different methodologies from various disciplines in the same area of research.
- To examine key themes and issues in development
- To provide research training to students and raise key methodological debates
- To encourage students to use perspectives and methodologies from one discipline in another one.
Who should attend?
The seminar is mandatory for students on the DTC International Development pathway. PhD and Masters students, interested in development, from both member and other colleges are also encouraged to attend. We also welcome LIDC members. Interested members of the public who wish to attend please contact Anjuli Borgonha.
