Are you interested in international development research?

You will get a chance to make useful contacts and find out more about different paths into this competitive sector and different roles that exist, including communicating and administering research.

You will find answers to questions such as:
Do I need to have a PhD?
Do I need field experience?
Do I need to start in academia?
and more!

Confirmed speakers include experts from the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), UK Collaborative on Development Sciences (UKCDS), International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and London International Development Centre (LIDC).

This is a joint event organised by the London International Development Centre (LIDC) and the SOAS Careers Office.

You can submit a question to the panel in advance by email by Wednesday 19th March or via Twitter to @soascareers (hashtag #IDresearchCareers).

Please note: This event is open to students, staff and alumni from SOAS, Institute of Education, Birkbeck, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and Royal Veterinary College (college email address required for registration).
