Speaker: Dr David Nabarro, UN System Senior Coordinator for Avian and Human Influenza

 

Details: The Inaugural Health Policy and Planning Annual Lecture will be given by Dr David Nabarro, a former faculty member of LSHTM, Representative of the Director General at WHO, and currently UN System Senior Coordinator for Avian and Human Influenza and Coordinator of the UN Task Force on the Global Food Security Crisis. He will be talking about contemporary and future public health challenges, such as pandemic influenza. After the lecture Andrew Jack, pharmaceuticals correspondent at the Financial Times will chair a discussion on the issues raised.
