It will also discuss the growing scientific collaboration between UK universities and Nepalese institutions including, NSET in aspects of earthquake research, and make a case for future strategies to be implemented in Nepal through possible contributions from Nepalese diaspora in the UK in assisting Nepal in enhancing capacities for earthquake risk reduction.

The symposium is free to attend and open to all; teachers, researchers, students, practitioners and alumni are warmly invited to attend.
