Thursday, September 11, 2008 (All day)

Time: 18.30 (reading followed by reception)

South African author Zoë Wicomb will be reading from her new book of short stories, The One That Got Away. Following the success of her previous books, including Playing in the Light, shortlisted for the 2007 Commonwealth Writer’s Prize, this latest work shows the author once again on home ground: straddling the two sites of her native Cape and Glasgow, and engaging with many of the most pressing issues of our time.
