Strategies for Development Education Policies - lessons from Spain
Tuesday, February 21, 2017 - 17:00 to 18:30
This seminar will reflect on a policy process to define the development education strategy for the Valencia Region of Spain. During eight months a participative process was conducted with the aim to include different relevant actors in the educational formal sector: teachers, NGOs, local and regional policy makers, etc. In this seminar, we will reflect on the process and the outcome of this experience, paying special attention to the influence of the global agenda (the Sustainable Development Goals) and of the local context.
