2016/17 LIDC-DTC Seminar Series 'Understanding Development' programme now available

The 2016- 2017 LIDC-DTC seminar series programme is now available

Time: Wednesdays starting Jan 2017, 3.30 – 5.00pm but check the programme for changes
Venue: LIDC, Upper Meeting Room (103), 36 Gordon Square

This year the focus of the series will be on using different methodologies from various disciplines in the same area of research. The aims are:

  • To examine key themes and issues in development
  • To provide research training to students and raise key methodological debates
  • To encourage students to use perspectives and methodologies from one discipline in another one.

Who should attend?

The seminar is mandatory for students on the DTC International Development pathway and students from other pathways are strongly encouraged to attend. The seminar is also open to other Bloomsbury PhD students interested in development, and Masters students subject to space availability. This year we also have a number of places for students from non-Bloomsbury Colleges. Students can join the mailing list by following the link here or receive updates via the LIDC newsletter.

Further information and the 2017 programme can be found on our website.
