Conference Assistant: part time

Conference Assistant 0.4 FTE

£27,962 per annum pro rata for 4 months

The London International Development Centre (LIDC) and UCL’s Grand Challenges Programme are collaborating to organise a conference on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at undergraduate and masters students. This will be a one-day event with several speakers from academia and NGOs talking throughout the day, in addition to SDG-specific desks staffed by specialists in each of the SDGs.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and organised part-time conference assistant to support the organisation of this event. The role will involve exercising a range of skills relating to relationship management, administration and information management, as well as using social media to promote the event to the student audience.  The post holder will support the UCL and LIDC teams.  He or she will be highly motivated, enjoy working as part of a hard-working and professional team and have an interest in the international development.

The post is offered at 2 days per week (hours can be flexible) for a four month period, with a pro rata salary of £27,962 per annum. More details on the position are available in the document below.
