JOB: Foresight Project Manager (Fixed Term) Global Panel

A Foresight Project Manager is required to be part of a team supporting the Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition, which comprises a small group of influential independent experts who have a commitment to tackling global challenges in food and nutrition security.  Applicants must have proven experience in providing comprehensive and proactive administrative support to projects and staff in a busy office environment, including budgeting and financial management, together with experience of coordinating and prioritising a heavy workload, meeting multiple deadlines and managing expectations.  The post involves driving the Foresight project forward through its successive stages of planning, commissioning technical work, ensuring effective and timely progress, evaluating findings, synthesising results, producing project outputs and launching the final outputs on the international stage.  This post offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-profile, multi-disciplinary project that has the potential to make a substantial difference to the lives of many millions of people across the world in the coming decades. 

The Foresight project will run until the end of December 2016, and candidates must be available for an immediate start.
