  • Poverty, health, gender inequality, housing etc; What do you consider to be a key global development challenge? How does your image relate to or reflect this challenge?

  • Is there a story behind your photo that reflects a global development challenge?

  • In what context was your photo taken?

For inspiration please see last year's shortlisted and winning photographs and accompanying description here.

At LIDC we are very privileged to work with a number of fantastic images adorning our office walls supplied to us by the organisation PhotoVoice, a charity which uses participatory photography as a catalyst for social change. Have a look at the images on their site for more ideas!
