Communications and Public Engagement Manager

We are seeking a new Communcations and Public Engagement Manager. The post holder will devlop and deliver a new communications stratgey and programme of services for LIDC members, including an enhanced social media strategy, new events, newsletters, reports and podcasts.

LIDC Communications internship

LIDC runs an internship for postgraduate students and recent graduates of master's courses. It is currently only open to:

  • Postgraduate students and recent alumni of the following colleges: SOAS, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Birkbeck, UCL Institute of Education, Royal Veterinary College, Queen Mary and City University)
  • Current postgraduate students at UCL’s Development Planning Unit and Kings College Department of International Development

This is because we aim to support students at our constituent colleges. Please ensure you have joined LIDC as a member here before applying.

Placements are part-time and run for 6 weeks. Interns help with producing editorial content, web communication, social media, liaising with membership, and events.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. To apply, please send your recent CV and a short motivation letter to the Communications Manager. Please indicate in your application in which month you would like to do the placement.
