Bloomsbury Learning Environment
The Bloomsbury Learning Environment (BLE) is a shared, online learning platform developed and used by Birkbeck, the Institute of Education, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the Royal Veterinary College, and the School of Oriental and African Studies.
It enables staff to share their findings with each other and helps students' learning. Tutors place lecture notes, PowerPoint presentations, podcasts of lectures and other course-related materials on dedicated sites.
LIDC has its own site within the BLE and on these pages LIDC members can find out about LIDC events and access PowerPoint presentations delivered at LIDC workshops (these are not available on the LIDC website). LIDC members can access the LIDC pages of the BLE via http://www.ble.ac.uk/ .
