Wednesday, November 26, 2008 (All day)

Full title: Antiviral Drug Stockpiles for Pandemic Influenza: What Can Epidemiological Modelling Offer Policymakers?

Time: 5pm

Speaker: Nim Pathy, Oxford University

Venue: Upper Meeting Room, LIDC, 36 Gordon Square, London, WC1H 0PD

This seminar is part of a series co-organised by LIDC and the London School of Economics called the "Social Science of Infectious Disease". The series intends to contribute to our understanding of the social sciences of infectious diseases, as well as to illustrate how the social sciences can inform a broader public health response to infectious diseases in the future. The emphasis of these seminars will be on social sciences in the plural, including all of the social sciences, from quantitative economics to social psychology, and from social anthropology to history. We will include speakers from both the human and animal health sector. Some but not all presentations will have a development theme.
