IFSTAL Launch and Inaugural Lecture

Please join us for the launch and inaugural lecture of the Innovative Food Systems Teaching and Learning programme (IFSTAL). This will be an introduction to the pioneering IFSTAL programme and the food systems challenges it seeks to address, followed by a panel welcome and discussion, and finishing with a networking reception jointly with LIDC.

The lecture itself will be hosted by Oxford University, live streamed to parallel events in London, Reading and Warwick. This will be followed by a welcome from the principal and vice-principal of the RVC and a panel discussion from members of LCIRAH and City University London.


5pm: Registration

5:15pm: “Food Systems: challenges, concepts and communities” by Dr John Ingram

6pm: Welcome from RVC Principal and Vice-principal. Panel discussion with members from LCIRAH (LSHTM, RVC, SOAS) and City University London

6:45pm: Networking reception (wine and nibbles), display and announcement of photography competition (see registration for details)
