LIDC's Distance Learning for Development (DL4D) Initiative - Drinks Reception During Fifth Pan-Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning

LIDC's Distance Learning for Development (DL4D) Initiative seeks to maximise the contribution of the distance learning activities of its member colleges for the achievement of international development goals.

Professor Waage will explain how LIDC is working with colleges of the University of London, the University's External System and partner institutions overseas, to identify needs and explore possibilities leading to the enhancement and development of existing and new distance learning courses.


A DL4D Resource Pack (Overview available here) showcasing the existing innovative and diverse distance learning courses and ICT4D programmes underway in the University of London will be distributed at the event.
