Malaria in Settling Nomadic Pastoralists: An EcoHealth Problem

Monday, August 3, 2009 (All day)

Time: 5:15pm

Venue: Lower Meeting Room, LIDC, 36 Gordon Square, London, WC1H 0PD

Speaker: David Bradley (Ross Professor of Tropical Hygiene Emeritus, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) is a medical epidemiologist and a zoologist and has extensive experience in bringing different disciplines together in the study of infectious diseases.

Details: This event is organised by LIDC's EcoHealth Group - a group of LIDC members (mostly students and early career researchers) from different backgrounds and from across the Bloomsbury Colleges.  The peer-learning group holds informal meetings to explore its members' common interests in using interdisciplinary approaches to understand the connection between nature, society and health. The meetings are open to all, including non-members of LIDC, and it is hoped that they will lead to new research projects and collaborations.
