Tuesday, November 12, 2013 - 09:30 to 16:00

Venue: LIDC Upper Meeting Room, 36 Gordon Square

This one day workshop is organised by the Leverhulme Centre for Integrative Research on Agriculture and Health (LCIRAH). The speakers will discuss the bi-directional links between farming and the health of those working in the agriculture sector in both developed and developing economies. Objectives include:

  • To bring together researchers currently engaged in agricultural and health research to stimulate partnerships and collaboration, including continued contact and information sharing in the future

Topics to be addressed by invited speakers with short case studies:

  • Impacts of  agriculture on workers’ health in low and middle income economies
  • Impacts of agriculture on workers’ health in middle and high income countries
