Lively Discussions and Engaging Ideas at the LIDC and The Guardian Debate on Aid

On Thursday 27th October the first debate of the LIDC & The Guardian new Development Debate Series took place discussing the theme of aid and asking- are we getting aid right? 

Bibi Van Der Zee, Editor of the The Guardian Global Development Professionals Network chaired the discussion and the panel consisted of Professor Stephen Chan (SOAS), Professor Kara Hanson (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), Fatimah Kelleher (Wise Development) and Stephen Doughty MP. Organized by the London International Development Centre and The Guardian this debate series aims to explore key issues in development, stimulate interesting discussions, and take an interdisciplinary approach to discussing global issues.
